The International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) is seeking input in determining the strategic direction and the overall balance of its future work programme. The IASB has identified three strategic areas as driving the work of its agenda which fall into two broad categories, developing financial reporting and maintenance of existing IFRSs. The IASB are specifically requesting views on what projects should be prioritised taking into account their resource constraints. The deadline for comment to the SAICA is 26 October 2011.
